Test stone with SSRI instrument package

Interwoof developed unique GPS loggers for the Slithering Stones Research Initiative. The logger has to operate in the harsh environment of Death Valley for many months at a time, fit unobtrusively into a small cavity in stones and capture accurate position data within seconds of start-up. The loggers successfully captured for the first time movements of stones on remote Racetrack playa during the winter of 2013. These logger records have been a critically important part of solving this long standing mystery.
